Each chapter starts with an epigraph on the left, and multi-level chapter titles and subtitles on the right. Each level needs to stand apart while maintaining a unitary feel. The drop cap uses the body text typeface so as to avoid competing with the headings.Having multiple headings for each chapter meant the TOC could not follow a conventional format. The boxed heading sets off a type of section appearing throughout the book. The author provided a rough of this image. I took a few minutes to recreate it in Adobe Illustrator. 10 Common Mistakes Financial Advisors Make, & Simple Ideas to Avoid Them, by Howard Lashner.
