Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to design several logos. While never my primary focus, it’s a process that I do enjoy. These are a few examples.

Logo with the initials CIS

Stanford Center for Internet and Society

When I migrated their old website built on crusty code to a new platform and design, this program of the Stanford Law School also needed a new logo. The challenge was to come up with an iconic representation of an organization that worked on cutting-edge legal issues regarding the internet.

Pingv logo

My old design company’s logo. The sweep through the v is an arc centered on the dot in the i. For square icon, we used a few variations on the v.

Toot Sweet Ink

A simple ink splash.

And of course the current Book Love Space logo, above, and the Rare Pattern logo in the footer.
