Book Love Space is a service mark of Rare Pattern LLC.

We care about your privacy. We use user tracking visible to us via third-party services only in the aggregate to assist in our broad marketing strategy. We do not use any of this data for tracking you personally.

The only personally identifiable information we collect is what you provide to us voluntarily via our contact form, comments, or newsletter subscription signup. We will not share with anyone else information provided to us by you.

This privacy policy is subject to change in the future without notification. However, we are not spammers and respect your privacy, and that will not change.

Third-party services

This site has integrations with various service providers who may collect data on you and/or your visit here by use of cookies and/or other tracking methods. Each has its own privacy policies. (Links to privacy policies provided.)

  • This site is hosted on WordPress.com, and has cookies for WordPress Stats, Gravatar, and Videopress, services of Automattic Inc. Their privacy policy and cookies policy.
  • We occasionally may embed videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, each of which have their own trackers.
  • We use Mailchimp for our newsletter.
  • We embed a Facebook widget to allow you to “like/share/recommend” our webpages. This widget may collect your IP address, your web browser User Agent, store and retrieve cookies on your browser, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the widget, including correlating your Facebook account with whatever action you take within the widget (such as “liking/sharing/recommending” our webpage), if you are logged in to Facebook.   • We use a Twitter Tweet widget at our website. As a result, our website makes requests to Twitter’s servers for you to be able to tweet our webpages using your Twitter account.   • We use a Linkedin Share widget at our website to allow you to share our webpages on Linkedin. These requests may track your IP address in accordance with their data privacy policy: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • We use Pinterest Save widget at our website to allow you to pin images to Pinterest from our webpages. These requests may track your IP address in accordance with their data privacy policy: https://policy.pinterest.com/en/privacy-policy
  • We use Reddit Badge widget at our website which may log information when you interact with the widget. This may include your IP address, user-agent string, browser type, operating system, referral URLs, device information (e.g., device IDs), pages visited, links clicked, user interactions (e.g., voting data), the requested URL and hardware settings, in accordance with their privacy policy: https://www.redditinc.com/policies/privacy-policy
  • For performance reasons and fast pageload times, we may implement some caching mechanisms that save anonymized info that you visited so that your browser does not have to download images etc. all over again should you revisit this site.

Use of blockers

Affiliate relationships

We participate in a small number of affiliate programs to help defray a tiny fraction of our operating costs.

  • We participate in the Apple Affiliates program for linking to iBooks and products made available via Apple.
  • We participate in the Smashwords Affiliate program for linking to books listed on Smashwords.
  • We participate in the ACX Bounty Program.
  • We are participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com. Amazon’s privacy policy.
  • We believe everyone benefits from the success of independent bookstores. This is why we link to IndieBound. We have an affiliate link in our footer for IndieBound, a service that helps online shoppers find books at their favorite independent bookstores. IndieBound’s privacy policy.
